How local residents can help control predators and animal pests

You can help control predators and animal pests by placing bait stations or traps on your property. We can show you how to use these and keep records of your work. We can also supply bait at nominal cost.

We also have possum traps for possum control which we can lend and demonstrate how to use.

For bait, bait stations, and traps

CPBS sells bait to landowners in Campbells Bay whose property is not part of the CBUS bait station network. We can also supply a trap and trap box if you prefer.

Read more here but we are always keen for more predator control volunteers. We have 50 traps, 250 bait stations and 60 monitoring tunnels, all of which need regular attention
