Regular work days in the park
Centennial Park Bush Society volunteers have been working in Centennial Park since about 1976.
We meet weekly on Wednesday mornings and on the first Saturday (occasionally Sunday) of each month to work on weed control sites, plant trees and work on maintaining tracks.
We always break for coffee around 10.30am and work til about midday.
Any new volunteers are welcomed with open arms. We will train you to recognise plants and deal with weeds in the most effective and safe way.

Kid friendly work days
Often we will run a special event aimed a child friendly activity like planting or mulching, usually in school holidays
Park Camp
We have run 3 park camps now in conjunction with Auckland Council Parks. This overnight family camp is full of action and activities and is very popular. Activities include a bug hunt, stream care, bush walk, making stuff and cooking damper over the fire.
Look out for the next park camp normally held in March.
Corporate opportunities
We welcome groups who want to help out. Previously we have hosted Canon, BNZ, Adarant and Spark volunteers who have helped with tracks, planting, mulching or weed busting.
