Rae Road entry

CPBS commissioned a landscape plan for the Rae Rd park entry area. This area was a hotch potch of railings, gates and muddy tracks. The plan by landscape architect Geraldine Bayly aimed to rationalise and beautify the area with a simple upgrade and planting plan. We obtained a grant from the Hibiscus and Bays Local Board which funded the hard landscaping. We obtained the rocks free from the golf club. Volunteers spread topsoil, mulch and metaland finished off by supplying and planting the area. We were then treated to the Campbells Bay School Kapa Haka group who helped with the opening ceremony in June 2012.

The Dairy Garden

The small garden at the Campbells Bay dairy is a CBUS project. This garden aims to demonstrate how we can use native plants in our gardens.
